Microsoft Authenticator introduced jailbreak/root detection for Microsoft work or school accounts in the Authenticator app. Users with rooted/jailbroken devices will be blocked from adding/using work or school accounts in Authenticator app. Users must move to compliant devices to continue using work or school accounts in Authenticator. This capability is secure by default and does not require any admin configuration or control.
Affected: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Authenticator App
